Food Aphorisms

The best quote has to be the one by Gandhi.
"There are people in the world so hungry, that cannot appear to them except on the form of bread"
Some people in the world can't even have hope since they are struggling so hard to survive each day. Gandhi has said some very wise things and i think that this is one of his best quotes. It would be awesome if all the starving people could get food and water at the least. It is sad that half the food in japan is wasted while people starve in other places.
Another aphorism that i thought was good is by George Bush.
"i do not like broccoli. And I haven't like it since i was a little kid and my mother made me eat it. I'm the President of the United States and I'm not going to eat anymore broccoli"
Everybody has a food that they don't like, or most. And i think taste varies from person to person after all, different people find different things delicious. Personally I don't think broccoli is that great too, but i can eat it still.

  1. The Gandhi quote is one of my favorites too. There's a hierarchy of needs that the psychologist Abraham Maslow described. Food, water, companionship are at the base and spiritual matters and self-actualization are at the top, meaning that we can't even begin to think about the latter until our needs for the former are met.

Barbara Bush, George's mother, must have been very disappointed by her son's statement and probably went to the Whitehouse to box his ears. She's very tough.
